Easter 2012
Submitted by danielle on April 13, 2012 - 11:08pm.We had a wonderful and busy Easter this year.
Miss Miriam was in the children's Easter program at church. She has a solo in "Amazing Grace" which she did beautifully!

We had our traditional Easter dinner at friends' farm followed by the egg hunt. Everyone hunted.
And Miriam found the chicks!! Of course!

All in all a good day!
Christmas Part 1
Submitted by danielle on December 26, 2011 - 5:05pm.As I said in a previous post, since we spent the holidays at home for
the first time ever as a family, we have been able to start some
traditions of our own. One of them is that on Christmas Eve we make
Christmas pizzas for supper. The shapes this year were a tree and candy
cane. Daddy makes the dough. Momma shapes and assembles the pizza. And
the kid decorate. Everyone eats. :)

Before we attend our churches Christmas Eve service, the kids may each
pick one gift to open. Asher opened his very first Christmas present.

Even after that, this was the tree they woke up to on Christmas.

A Day With the Fishes
Submitted by danielle on November 6, 2011 - 11:38pm.
Well sort of.... Mimmi was here visiting this last week while Mommy was
playing single mom. Let me just give a shout out to all my single mom
friends... seriously, you all ROCK!!!!
Back to the point of this blog post. So with Mimmi was here, we took a
little day trip to a wonderful aquarium. We had been meaning to go for
sometime and it was every bit as much fun for the kids as I had hoped.
We saw fish of all sorts.
Got right up close to some of them.
We saw sharks.... lots of them.
Also a sea turtle.
We saw string rays. Many kinds in fact.
Miriam even got to pet one. (Mommy too.)
The rays were a HUGE favorite.
The other favorite part of the day was the penguins.
Miriam totally fell in love with this one named Suzie.
Asher did so well through out the day. So I got to leave you with a few happy Asher pictures! :)
3+1 = 4
Submitted by danielle on October 15, 2011 - 10:22pm.I finally got all 4 kids to sit on the couch for a picture the other night before bed. It was actually Miriam's idea. As anyone with little kids knows, it is NOT easy to get a good picture but we did ok. :)
And I lost them...
The Tale of the Dragon and two Damsels
Submitted by danielle on July 12, 2011 - 6:43pm.This the tale of a Dragon and two Damsels in distress. It begins with the attack of the dragon. He was fierce.
And his attack was ferocious!
But all hope was not lost! The Damsels were armed with knives.
The Damsels worked together...
and soon the Dragon was routed!
