Getting connected.

Well, today we had the awesome opportunity to attend the FIRST ever meeting of the East Tennessee Ethiopian Adoption group. We had six families in attendance with a total of 5 children home from Ethiopia. It was so fun to see so many little Ethiopian-Americans together at once. Hopefully the next time we meet even more people will be able to attend. Miriam was the oldest Ethiopian child in attendance, but not by much! (Little SJ almost has her.) I can't wait for them to get a little older and be able to understand what they share. It was also nice to build the relationships we have started online in real life. Maybe some day we will have huge activities like some of the larger Ethiopian Adoption groups.... a girl can dream!
