HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Good morning everyone and HAPPY THANKSGIVING! It is a beautiful day here in east Tennessee... sun shining, baby sleeping :-)... what more can you ask for?
Our brave little baby faced the pediatrician yeasterday and had 3 shots plus the TB skin test plus two attempts to draw the required 5 tubes of blood and one finger stick to finish off the blood work. Oh, and we had to collect a urine and 2 stool samples... thank goodness that didn't require any poking or proding. We were at the Ped's for 3 hours!! Over all our Dr is very pleased with Mira's health and how she was cared for in Ethiopia. They really do a wonderful job at the Care Center.
We plan to spend Thanksgiving with our church family like we do every year. Everyone is so excited and can't wait to meet Miriam. It will be her first official church outing. :-)
I am also going to make an effort today to start posting the travel journals as I know so many are patiently waiting for them. :-)
