Left or right?

Miriam was obviously right handed from day one.  No question. Her left hand never dominated anything.

Evan, on the other hand, is not a clear case at all! When he first joined us, he tended to use both hands equally as you would expect of a 10 month old, but then he started ONLY using his left hand to eat or to use the pincher grip to pick up small things.  Just when I was at the point of thinking he really was a southpaw, he started exclusively using his right hand to feed himself.  So I decided he was just one of those kids who leans close to ambidextrous, but is likely to be right handed.  BUT now he is learning to feed himself with a spoon and guess which hand he uses... yup, left. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
