Her first prayer

Well, Miriam has been paying attention and something is sinking in! For sometime now Miriam usually holds out her hand and says "hands" meaning lets pray when we are all seated at the table. Well the other day, we were getting ready to eat supper with Miriam and Evan in their seats, but Brian was still getting a few things. Miriam looked at me and said, "Pray." I replied "Ok" expecting that she would just grab my hand and maybe bow her head. She surprised me by bowing her head and starting to pray. "Dear Jesus. God bless Evan." Something, something. "Cup" Something. "Sleepy" Something. "God bless Na-Na" (her friend Nathan) "God bless (Aunt) Kristin" Something. Something. "AMEN!"
Her first spontaneous pray! We didn't understand most of it but it doesn't matter... the One it was addressed to understood!
